Dr. Hassan Abdel-Wahed Abd-Alla Shora
He is a senior researcher at Port-Said university, supervisor of PhD & MSc theses in molecular medicine cooperating with staff of department of biochemistry & molecular biology at faculty of science. He is the head of medicine &director of diabetes center at Ismailia General hospital and works as a senior lecturer, Egyptian Board of physicians to train medical residents in Ismailia, Egypt rill 2023. He is awarded Physician Recognition Award of The American Medical Association in 2003 and 2007 and 1st part Master of Cardiology in 2000. He and Harvard Medical school Associate in 2020 and published his first paper in 1984 while he was a second year undergraduate student and published fifty- five original research papers thereafter in international journals in role of adiponectin and glycemic control in delaying subclinical atherosclerotic changes in type 1 diabetics, markers of subclinical atherosclerosis in type 1 diabetic adolescents, inflammatory biomarkers of cardiometabolic risk in obese type 2 diabetics iron binding stores in correlation with cardiometabolic risk in obese type 2 diabetics and NT Pro PNB as a marker od microvascular complications in type 2 diabetes. He is a member of editorial boards and peer reviewer for more than ninety journals worldwide including: Diabetes & Diabetes Care, USA, BMJ Diabetes open, Journal of Diabetes & Metabolism, European Medical Journal, Dove Press Journals, Approval editor in CUREUS journal of Medical Science and many other journals. His research interest in molecular diabetic medicine for novel biomarkers to detect early complications of diabetes. His Interests includes Adiponectin, adipose tissue, obesity, atherosclerosis, diabetic microvascular complications, cardiometabolic risk, novel anti-inflammatory therapies MoAb, CVD prevention.
