Prof. Rahul Saxena
Dr. Rahul Saxena, is presently Professor & Head in Biochemistry department of Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida, UP, having more than 18 Years experience. He had worked in AIIMS, New Delhi after completion of his PhD as Senior Research Fellow from M.L.N. Medical College, Allahabad. His area of research is Clinical Chemistry, Life style disorders and Biomedical instrumentation. He has completed 02 Government funded projects (NRDC & MSME) and published: more than 50 National granted Patents related to surgery and health problems. He acquired knowledge of various techniques (ELISA, PCR, Western Blotting etc.) in NICPR, Noida and CDRI. He received many prestigious awards like Young Scientist award in ACBI, Distinguished Professor award, Dr. N.L. Patney award, Best Oral-Paper presentation award and Best Faculty Award etc. He has contributed 20 chapters in International book published under Elsevier & Springer Nature publication and in National books. He has published more than 150 research articles, and 05 Books (02 edited and 03 author books). He has supervised 08 PhD, 01 MD and 03 MSc students. He contributed significantly in Organizing various Workshops and Webinar. He presented research paper in various national and international conferences and published more than 35 abstracts. He is a member of different academic bodies: National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Association of Clinical Biochemistry of India and Indian Academy of Geriatrics. He has wide academic experience as PhD program and NAAC co-ordinator and Resource person in Medical Education Unit; & scientifically contributed in scopus and pubmed indexed journals as reviewer. He has conducted various examinations as external examiner, and editorial board member of Journal of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Red Flower publications and International Journal Research Publication Analysis.
